Kisha Henry joins the cast of "When We Sleep"

Kisha Henry joins the cast as a lead actor in the film titled "When We Sleep". This feature-length film will be shot in and around the Kansas City area throughout 2026. "When We Sleep" is produced by Cintrellium (cintrellium.com) and is written and directed by Nathaniel Thomas.

"When We Sleep" is the story of a woman who is taken into the shadows by a growing dark force. Her husband and friends, struggling to cope with their loss, must each make a choice that will affect her destiny and their own.

Kisha Henry is an actress from Kansas City. The former news anchor, reporter and producer (KMBC-9, KOKH-TV, KTVO-3) left television news to pursue her childhood dream and has acted in commercials and films in KC, St. Louis and Mexico. Kisha has played the roles of Susan Swaggers in the upcoming feature film Gingerbread Men from Director Jason Hudson; Beth in the short thriller TURNS from the collaboration of Soulmark Studios, ReRolled Studios and Blume Video; Priscilla in the 2025 KC Film Festival selection short Priscilla’s Bookstore from Kwaku Duah; Jennifer Evans in the web series Wicked Deeds from Cintrellium and Tilted Light Productions; Alisa Ange in the feature film Semi-Famous from L. Tanner Smith; the assistant pastor in the upcoming feature film Rise and Shine; Nurse Ruth Kelly in the Barnplayer’s Theatre Production of Harvey; and Mrs. Which, Mother and Camazotz Mom in the Coterie Theatre’s Production of A Wrinkle in Time. Kisha is represented by Voices and Models in Kansas City, as well as West Talent in St. Louis. She studies at The Actor Training Studio.

Kisha will play Minny, Max's wife. She is a dynamic and capable woman. She loves new experiences and her relationships are the most important things in her life. She will sacrifice her own well-being to ensure the success and happiness of those she loves.
