Nick Givechi joins the cast as a lead actor in the film titled "When We Sleep". This feature-length film will be shot in and around the Kansas City area throughout 2026. "When We Sleep" is produced by Cintrellium (cintrellium.com) and is written and directed by Nathaniel Thomas.
"When We Sleep" is the story of a woman who is taken into the shadows by a growing dark force. Her husband (Max) and friends, struggling to cope with their loss, must each make a choice that will affect her destiny and their own.
Nick Givechi is an actor, writer, award-winning spoken word poet, and bilingual storyteller whose work spans film, television, and the stage. He’s appeared in studio and indie films including Coyote VS Acme (Warner Bros), Helter Shelter, Mud Dog, and SY RO, with television credits including Better Call Saul (AMC). Having trained at The University of Kansas and under Oscar and Emmy winning screenwriters, Nick brings global perspective and emotional depth to every role. When he's not on set, Nick loves traveling and is a professional weight trainer.
Nick will play Max, Minny's husband. He is a highly intelligent, determined man, and yet still has his share of demons. He's suffered off and on again alcoholism through his teens and 20s, and struggled against himself looking for any reason he could find to jump off the wagon. Once he has his eyes set on a goal, he will do everything he can to see it through. He almost always succeeds.
