Amy Hurrelbrink joins the cast as a lead actor in the film titled "When We Sleep". This feature-length film will be shot in and around the Kansas City area throughout 2026. "When We Sleep" is produced by Cintrellium (cintrellium.com) and is written and directed by Nathaniel Thomas.
"When We Sleep" is the story of a woman (Minny) who is taken into the shadows by a growing dark force. Her husband and friends, struggling to cope with their loss, must each make a choice that will affect her destiny and their own.
Amy will play Leila, Olivia’s wife. She is a Doctor with an interest in sleep patterns and caring for animals first, humans second. She is scatter-brained, cluttered, a bit of a hoarder, and curious about the nature of our existence. The love and care she has for her wife is unmatched against all other of life’s trifles. Beyond that, she is directed, and always focused on accomplishing the single task in front of her.
