Michael Shedrick joins the cast as a lead actor in the film titled "When We Sleep". This feature-length film will be shot in and around the Kansas City area throughout 2026. "When We Sleep" is produced by Cintrellium (cintrellium.com) and is written and directed by Nathaniel Thomas.

"When We Sleep" is the story of a woman (Minny) who is taken into the shadows by a growing dark force. Her husband and friends, struggling to cope with their loss, must each make a choice that will affect her destiny and their own.

Michael is an actor, writer and director from Topeka, KS. He first caught the acting bug playing Mr. Warbucks in a production of Annie at Heights of Learning Summer Camp in the early 2000’s. Throughout high-school he participated in theater and was cast in several productions. He attended acting and film courses at Washburn University and frequents both class-style and private training at the Actor Training Studio, located in Kansas City, KS. He is currently represented by Exposure Model and Talent Inc. Michael is best known for playing Elliot Waller in Tilted Light Productions' series Wicked Deeds, for which he also writes and directs.  One of his next acting projects is a role in Umbrelic Entertainment's upcoming feature film The Possession at Galdstone Manor.

Michael will play Shane, Max’s best friend and Claire’s husband. He is intelligent and curious. He tends to give people more than a few second chances. He does his best to support them in their efforts and will frequently drop what he needs to help others. Shane has been there with Max through thick and thin, a polar opposite to Claire’s energy in this regard. He is a bit of a pushover when it comes to Claire.
